City bus 600 ≈ 42 TL, AntalyaKart only 40–60 min to the Otogar Changing to an intercity bus at the Otogar

Antalya is two different trips that start at the same airport. Into the city it is a short, cheap ride by tram or coach. To Belek, Side, Kemer or Alanya it is an hour or more on the road, and there is no direct public transport — that is where a booked car earns its money.

Which terminal

AYT has two international terminals, T1 and T2, and a separate domestic terminal. Which one you land at depends on the airline. They are spread along the apron, so check yours before planning a walk to the tram or a meeting point.

Tram, coach and bus into the city

The AntRay tram is the cheapest way in. Its airport stop is by the domestic terminal; guides disagree on whether there is a second stop on the international side, so from T1 or T2 allow time for the walk or the free shuttle between terminals. For the centre and the old town get off at İsmetpaşa. You pay with an AntalyaKart (machines and kiosks at the stops) or a contactless bank card — cash is not taken on board.

Havaş coaches leave from international arrivals for the city centre. Lira fares change several times a year: 2026 figures we found range from 150 to 220 TL, so check at the Havaş desk. Bus 600 goes to the Otogar, the intercity bus station — useful only if you are continuing by coach.

Taxi

Yellow taxis wait outside arrivals and run on the meter. The 2026 city tariff is reported as an opening fee plus roughly 50–60 TL per kilometre, with a higher rate between midnight and 6:00; we could not confirm it on the municipal site. Into the centre that comes to 600–900 TL. To the resorts, multiply by the road distance in the table above — Alanya is 130 km away, and the meter becomes the most expensive option there.

The resorts

To reach Belek, Side, Kemer or Alanya by public transport you ride to the Otogar and change to an intercity bus or dolmuş, then walk or taxi to the hotel. It works, but after a flight with children and suitcases it is two to three hours. A pre-booked car is priced per vehicle, not per person, so for two or more people it usually costs less than the meter and not much more than a hotel shuttle.

Our take

  • One person, light bag, staying in Kaleiçi — tram.
  • City centre with suitcases — Havaş; a taxi if you land after midnight.
  • Any resort, a family, or a night arrival — book the transfer.

Frequent questions

How much is a transfer from AYT to Belek?

On 21 October 2026 the lowest price in Kiwitaxi's form was €40 per vehicle for 37 km, about 55 minutes on the road. The final price depends on your date, vehicle class and party size — the form shows it before you pay.

What if my flight to AYT is delayed?

The driver tracks the flight by its number and arrives for the actual landing. Kiwitaxi includes 90 minutes of free waiting at the airport.

Where does the driver meet me?

In the arrivals hall of Antalya, holding a sign with your name on it. The driver's contact details arrive in advance, usually the day before the trip.

Is the price final?

Yes. Tolls and airport parking are already included. You only pay extra for options you choose yourself: a child seat, oversized luggage.

Can I cancel a booking?

With Kiwitaxi, cancellation is free up to 16 hours before pickup for standard cars and minivans, and up to 24 hours for business class and minibuses. The exact terms are shown at checkout.

Why is this better than a taxi at the rank?

The price is known upfront and does not depend on traffic or the time of day, the car is already booked, and the driver is waiting for you specifically. In an unfamiliar city, with luggage in hand, that is noticeably calmer.
